At Ellatogether, our volunteers play a vital role in helping us create inspiring, inclusive, and successful productions. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and supportive individuals to join our team.
Volunteer Roles Available
Dressmaking & Props
Assist with costumes, alterations, and preparing props for performances. If you love sewing, craft, or have a keen eye for detail — this role is for you.
Supporting Cast Members On Stage
Help performers backstage and during productions — providing practical support, encouragement, and a calm, reassuring presence during the excitement of live performance.
Dressing Room Support
Assist cast members with costumes, organisation, and preparation in the dressing rooms — helping everyone feel confident, calm, and ready to take the stage.
Supervision in Rehearsal Rooms
Help provide a safe, positive, and well-managed rehearsal environment — supporting tutors and ensuring every session runs smoothly and inclusively.
Safe, Trained & Supported
Every volunteer joins Ellatogether with the confidence of knowing they are fully prepared and supported. We provide role-specific training and ensure all DBS checks are completed before you begin.
Full Role Training
You’ll receive complete training specific to your volunteer role before starting — no prior experience needed for most positions.
Enhanced DBS Check
All positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check — protecting our students and community.
Ongoing Support
You’ll always have a named lead to turn to — our team is here to make sure you feel confident and comfortable in your role.
All volunteers will receive full training for their role. We take safeguarding seriously — ensuring every member of our community is safe, valued, and protected.
